The Brief
Among the numerous design work we have completed for Martin Bissett are logos for the following businesses and projects:
- Martin Bissett Group, Consulting & Speaking for UK and EMEA Accountants
- AddViser +, Consulting & Speaking for North, South and Central American Accountants
- Upward Spiral Professionals, Professional Community for all UK Accountants
- Air Group, Mastermind Group for all Accounting Influencers
- Upward Spiral Foundation, Martin Bissett’s Personal Foundation to relieve extreme poverty in individuals (1 to 1 projects) with local community initiatives and international organisations
The briefings start with a conversation about the project, who the target audience will be, and what message the logo needs to portray. After conducting some research into the industry and taking into account Martin’s other logos, we conceptualise ideas and make decisions on the possible design directions.

Design Execution
After creating a number ideas we will compare them to the brief and select the most promising ones. In this logo design step, we select the best ideas and then translate them into digital artwork. Only executing the logo concepts that can work effectively for the client.
Then tweak the designs and develop many variations of the concepts. As a result, the logo concepts improve and become stronger very quickly.
We will then, judge the concepts by the following criteria:
- Is it appropriate?
- Is it simple?
- Is it memorable?
- Does it tie in with the Martin Bissett Brand?
There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation,
hard work, and learning from failure.
– Paul Tournier
Once confident Martin and his team will be satisfied with the finished concept, we present the logo on a number of applications; for example, a business card, business stationery, and promotional item. We listen to all feedback and make revisions if necessary. “I always come to B2B when I need design work, especially logos because they somehow always get it right first time!” Martin Bissett
